InCounter is a project by artists Melanie Clifford, Stephen Shiell and Erica Scourti, bringing together live sound performances and video screenings.

The sound art element, curated by Melanie Clifford and Stephen Shiell, encompasses live performances by international artists working in the fields of experimental music, analogue to digital experimentation, glitch, noise and audio to video crossovers. The video element, curated by Erica Scourti around specific themes integral to her own research interests, features work by international and UK video artists. Together the project brings together diverse artists with experimental practices and hopes to create connections between them.

Starting off with an event at Hackney Wicked Festival 2009, InCounter staged two more events, one at Campbell Works Gallery, London, and another at Berlin's HBC, organised in collaboration with Berlin and Paris-based collective ARTKILLART; for more info on past shows, see the 'past' page of this website.
